Guys enough on the botting please

I'm sure acclaim is going as much as they can, I don't think they would want their main and favorite and money grabbing game going down the drain. >_<.

The bots with the weird names are farmerbots. Its a kind of bot that only gold sellers use. The bots gather gold or items, sell them and then after a certain amount of time the gold gets sent to one of many accounts. Thank god the bot is private, or we would have a lot of shit going around. I'm sure acclaim is doing something.

You guys want to call me a botter or w/e, but we'll I'm not. How do I know all this? I used to be a GM on another game that had the same problem. Sadly the only way they got the bots off was to add a timer that started every time a monster was hit, not in pvp, not in places where theres no mons (like Temple) etc. Only when a monster was hit. The popup came up every 30minutes from the first mon being hit, but I luckily convinced them to make it every hour. This timer did not show up in somthing sorta like DF.

I hope acclaim can do something about this botting problem, but guys, please, posting several threads on the forums is not going to convince acclaim any more to do it. And guys don't flame MaiTwoMoons, she has no power in game to stop the bots, shes only in charge or the events!

Flame me all you want and mods, I kindly ask you to clear out the posts that will lead to locking this topic instead of locking it. Keep the flaming to a minimal amount, but remember, anything on these forums will not help acclaim at all to get rid of the bots.
