* Taken from my thread on keriz, which is now perma-banned. I cannot edit it, so I'll resume it from this account. Previous thread found @ http://phpbb.acclaim.com/2moons/viewtopic.php?t=132972&highlight=xipk *
So, here is another one of my ideas to implement something bigger and better in this game...
The Concept:
An area, where if you successfully PK an opposing player, you gain EXP. The EXP that is gained is all dependent on what level you are yourself, and the level of the opposing player. However, should you die, you will lose the same amount of EXP that the person whom kills you gains. Obviously the percentage of gain and loss will be different on the two parties if they are different levels.
This area should be somewhere that any levels can teleport to, and is a FFA [Free for All] area.
Partying with other people should be permitted, and should you try attacking a partied member, your character will not hit.
There should be a safe zone, and in this safe zone, there should be an NPC that sells pots and whatnot and an NPC that can teleport you from this area to Braiken 1 + 2 or Loa 1 + 2 [dependant on where you want to go, obviously].
The Pros:
- Leveling would be a little easier, amirite?
- Maybe this new style of PvP would bring back old players [such as myself] or players that have recently lost interest in playing 2Moons regardless of their no-good expansion packs.
- More to be added.
The Cons:
- Lower levels whining like little girls. If you can't kill someone that's higher than you, then simply stay out of the PvP area is my advice.
- Higher levels abusing lower levels. Maybe I can think of something to prevent this from happening, like maybe there has to be a certain amount of levels you have to be above the person you are aiming to kill, and maybe if there is an excess of say... 30 levels, you don't get any EXP?
- More to be added.
This is open for discussion, so please, throw in your ideas and whatnot.
Maybe Acclaim can do something about this and actually report it to GameHi? Maybe I'm just dreaming.
